We enjoyed the quiet location of the resort and the cozy atmosphere of the condo. The spacious room was perfect for our romantic escape, and we appreciated the fully equipped kitchenette which made it easy to prepare our own meals. the comfortable and clean bedding added a nice touch to our experience.
Some aspects of the condo were not up-to-par. The showers could use some repairs, and we experienced some issues with the lighting fixtures.

The outdoor pool and hot tube are nice. The indoor pool and hot tub are also nice.
I think in advertising that it should clearly state that the resort is not near the beach and there is no good "10 minute walk." The walk is down a busy highway with no sidewalks or bike path. From the pictures and other information we thought it was a beach community and had beachfront. There is no view of the beach from any unit. The refrigerator was all rusty on the outside. The coffee maker was very old. The sofa was faded. The chairs in the living room had stains on them. There were dead bugs on the floor of the living room. The sheets and bedspread were very old and used for a long time. The sheets had some tears in them. The living room sofa was faded. The oven had a burnt smell inside of it. When I emailed the rental agency about my concerns, I got no response. We left a day early as my wife was very upset about the lack of a beach view.

Close to the beach and great amenities nearby. The hotel offered an excellent coffee maker and the staff were very accommodating. The location was the best, with plenty of things to do nearby. For business travelers, it was great to have a good Wi-Fi connection.
Sadly, the room wasn't very clean and had problems with bugs. The carpet was stained and dirty, and sheets had holes in them.

We were totally impressed and look forward to coming back next year. The resort is centrally located and very close to the beach. The staff was more than helfpul and answered every question we had. A day at the pool or a day at the beach, either way the Purple Parrot was accomodating. We only wish that the Tiki Bar had been open. Other than that, our visit was perfect.

The location of this resort was convenient, just a short drive away from the national seashore and a variety of restaurants and shops. The swimming pools were clean and refreshing, perfect for a quick dip after a day of exploring.
The cleanliness of our cottage left something to be desired. We found several bugs inside, which detracted from our enjoyment of the space.

You cannot use the sofabed as it was damaged. So we had to sleep on an airmattress. The poolbar was not in use.

The pool was absolutely awesome.
The beds in our unit were not comfortable at all. The pull out sofa was so bad, after a night, we took to sleeping on the floor.

I had a great stay at this hotel. Cleanliness was top-notch and staff was friendly. Location was close to everything I needed and very close to Johnson beach, which was a plus. Parking was gated and secure.
There was nothing I didn't like.

We really enjoyed our stay at the purple parrot. All of the guest and staff were extremely friendly. We were able to sit outside and have a few drinks with our resident neighbors and learn about the area.. The whole site was amazing except for the fact that the tiki bar was shut down but we understand the circumstances. We will def be trying to book our stay at 38c again.

I enjoyed the fitness centre and indoor pool & hot tub. The employee that was on site and seemed to do everything was excellent. He worked non stop and kept the pool etc clean and in good repair.
Cleanliness - the unit was not very clean. The kitchen was very poorly equipped, especially utensils (and in the drawers and cupboards dirty). Location was in the middle of nowhere. The ad made it appear as though there was beach access on the resort but the beaches were accessed off the resort area. The floors and bathroom were not as clean as they should be. The sofa in the living room was filthy! We were on ground level which we requested, but could hear every sound from the unit above. The reservation office which was off site was difficult to reach - long waits and still not able to get through. Then we would go in person and nobody would be there.

Did not like that the Tiki Bar is gone. Good memories there. Was nice to sit and relax at with friends who live near there.
